His musical career began as a student for ten years at the local musical education establishment, 'Crescendo' in Voorthuizen, where he is now employed as a teacher.

During his teenage years Peter developed his natural talent as a member of several bands and gospel choirs, and this gave him the opportunity to play different styles of music. When he was nineteen he started at the conservatorium, and he graduated in 2007.

Peter's musical education and experience have enabled him to become a competent teacher and a talented drummer of many different styles.

Today, Peter is a member of different groups and bands, and he plays drums for several choirs, bands and artists, sometimes as a stand-in. He has also worked on CD- and theatre-productions.
